My College
College over the years has become much more significant in terms of obtaining a bright and successful future. The college you attend based on the popularity and relevance of the school amongst the highest paying professions is crucial. Attending a college or university with a not so known name doesn’t always get you as far as you need to go. Universities are meant to help you prepare yourself for the professional world, give you a sense of reality, and help you achieve your ambitions after college. Texas A&M allows me to excel through determination, offers many majors with great programs, offers financial aid programs, and also helps me get a job after college. I would love to attend this university for these reasons and others but the requirements are demanding.
The requirements to be admitted are a 520/630 for critical reading, 560/670 for math, and 500/610 for writing ,a high school transcript, a complete apply Texas application ,and a GPA of 2.5(on a 4.0 scale). Dorm and board are approximately in the same range as any other college. It is recommended for freshmans to live on campus to fully embrace the true "wonders" of college life. Fortunately, the life outside the classroom is filled with programs that will fulfill your needs to enjoy yourself. Basketball, football, soccer, baseball, honors programs, student government groups, and volunteer groups are just a few of the rewarding activities.
The cost for a in-state tuition with the expenses of food, a dorm, books, and other needed additional is about $20,614. I plan to pay for this through earning scholarships, working on campus, and with the additional help of parent payments. Another benefit Texas A&M offers are available on campus jobs. Working in the office, on campus, in fields, and in classrooms are all ways you can gain more money in your pocket or to help pay for your tuition.
Although Texas A&M is somewhat affordable, the fact that it's such a good school accounts for the hundreds upon thousands of high school graduates that apply to A&M every year. The competition amongst potential Aggies is competitive and to be accepted would be great but even more it keep me more than motivated to do all I can to earn my degree. I want to get my four years basic at A&M then transfer over to Baylor college of medicine in which i am seeking a doctrine. I am not completely certain but as of right now I want to become a pediatrician. Paediatrics is the branch of medicine that deals with the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. Reason being I love to do what I can to help and what better way can you help people. Plus, the salary is more than acceptably fair. Before applying to med school certain courses need to be taken which include one year of English, two years of Biology, one semester of college calculus or statistics, one year of physics, two years of chemistry, including one year of inorganic and one year of organic chemistry.
